Asia-Pacific stocks mixed after Dow sails to record high


SINGAPORE — Shares in Asia-Pacific ended up blended in Thursday morning trade even with gains overnight on Wall Street that saw the Dow Jones Industrial Regular increasing to a new all-time substantial.

In Japan, the Nikkei 225 slipped .64% in early trade even though the Topix index dipped .36%. South Korea’s Kospi edged .3% better.

Australian stocks have been muted as the S&P/ASX 200 traded minor modified.
