Mexico seizes 380,000 boxes of Kellogg’s cereal

Mexico wants to improve children’s eating plans, so it seized 380,000 packing containers of Corn Flakes, Unique K and other Kellogg’s cereal, declaring the bins experienced cartoon drawings on them

MEXICO Town — Mexico has seized 380,000 packing containers of Corn Flakes, Specific K and other Kellogg’s cereals, saying the packing containers experienced cartoon drawings on them in violation of a short while ago enacted regulations aimed at increasing children’s diet plans.

Mexico’s buyer security agency also reported Friday that the cereal bins did not plainly point out dietary values like energy, fat, salt or sugar, or didn’t have the appropriate warning symptoms for stages of those elements that are deemed too much.

Kellogg’s did not right away reply to requests for remark.
